Mark Adams is the Director of Outside Plant Engineering and Architectures in the Product and Technology group of Cox Communications. In this role, Mark leads the Architectural efforts around Cox’s NT2.0 and FTTH initiatives. In addition, his responsibilities include Small Cell & WiFi engineering and lab qualification testing efforts in support of Cox’s OSP networks. Mark is a 41-year veteran in the telecommunications industry and prior to joining Cox he held numerous positions at Scientific Atlanta/Cisco Systems including VP of Engineering, VP of Quality, VP of Applications and Sales Engineering and VP of Professional Services (SciCare). He holds several patents, authored numerous industry papers and been a speaker at both NCTA Conventions and SCTE Cable Tec Expos. While in the engineering ranks, he did extensive work in the areas of feedforward and power doubling amplifiers, fiber optic design and was one of the key contributors in architecture concepts which lead to the HFC Network we know today. After retiring from Cisco in 2011, Mark founded SFA Technical Services Consulting Group providing services to Harmonic, Accenture, Eriksson, Power & Telephone Supply, BusinessOne and Cox Communications. In 2018, he joined Cox Communications in his current role. Mark is an active SCTE member where he serves as the President of the Chattahoochee Chapter. He has been a speaker at the SCTE’s Chapter Leadership Conference and Chapter President’s Roundtable. In 2018 he was elevated to the rank of SCTE Senior Member for his contributions to the SCTE and Cable Industry. Mark majored in Physics at Georgia State University and holds an Executive Master of Business degree from Georgia State University. He is a PMI certified PMP. In his spare time Mark enjoys playing golf, musical instruments (guitar, drums and keyboard) and is a huge Civil War buff. His absolute favorite thing however is rooting on the Alabama Crimson Tide!

I’ve been a member of the cable telecommunications industry for over 36 years. I’m currently the V.P. of Operations for FHG Solutions, a full-service installation and construction contractor serving the Southeast. Prior to moving to FHG, I worked with Truenet Communications and Comcast where I’ve worked in various roles from technician all the way up to senior director. I’ve been serving on the Chattahoochee SCTE board since 1999. My goal/focus as a Chattahoochee board member is continuing to see us provide training/access to cutting edge technologies, not only for our MSO members, but also would like to work to see more involvement from our contract/business partners. I see this as a growing part of our industry and as a board we need to be ready for the coming growth.

I have more than 30 years in the Telecommunications industry with experience at different MSO’s. I started in 1989 with Group W Cable who later became Paragon Cable and then Time Warner Cable. My tenure with Time Warner was spent working across multiple lines of business such as Field Services, Construction, Plant Maintenance, Fiber build and maintenance, as well as various leadership roles. In 2002 I left Time Warner Cable to gain experience with another MSO in another market, this change led me to Charter Communications where I served for 5 years. In 2007 I joined the Cox Communications Team where I have served as Senior RF Engineer, Senior Engineering PM and now in the capacity of Senior Optical/RF Engineer and Architecture for the Cox Corporate Team. I hold the NCTI certification of Senior Master Technician. I earned 3 College Certificates in Broadband Digital Management, Broadband Technical Management, and Broadband Telephony Technology Management. Constance Bratton Lyle is currently Sr. Director of Engineering Operations at Comcast Cable Corporation. Constance is responsible for the support teams in the Central Division eXcellence in Operations Center. In the past, Constance has held various Engineering positions. She started her career in 1996 with Media One Corporation in the Network Operations Center then moved to the Systems Engineering team to manage servers for the Network Operations teams. She then became heavily involved in the data network supporting Video, Telephony and VOD networks which afforded her the opportunity to obtain CCNA and CCNP certification. When Media One was purchased and became ATT Broadband she was responsible for the Implementation and Design Engineering on the Data Monitoring Networks. She then moved to a new role as a Sr. Manager of Engineering Operations when Comcast purchased ATT Broadband transitioning from equipment management to people management.
In her current role, as Sr Director of Engineering Operations, she currently manages teams that provide Root Cause Analysis, System Support, Development, Process Improvement and Implementation for the Comcast Central Division. The Central Division spans the state of Michigan to the Florida Keys. Constance is heavily involved in the community and mentoring programs. She is a Board Member for the Georgia Diversity Council where she is responsible for social media. She has participated in ERG programs for Comcast where she took part in a mentoring program. She is active in Women in Cable and has been a judge for the Red Letter Awards as well as attended the highly profiled class WICT Rising Leaders for 2015, Half the Sky for 2017. She has taken several leadership courses to enhance her leadership skills and has attended highly visible courses, such as the Fundamentals of Leadership Program, Comcast’s High Tech Management and Leadership (HTML) program both sponsored by Comcast University. Prior to devoting his work full-time in the telecommunications industry, Jae serviced in the US Navy based in Guam then the California National Guard Reserves. In Guam is where he started his career in cable, at Guam Cable Television. From there to the Philippines, Bay Area of California, Southwest Florida, Nashville Tennessee then to Atlanta Georgia area for the last nine years.

I am a 33 Year Telecommunications veteran currently working in the Outside Plant Engineering & Construction group for Cox corporate in Atlanta Georgia. My industry career started as an installer for Paragon Cable (Time warner). I have held several positions in the industry in Outside Plant Maintenance, Headend, Management, Engineering, and Training as well as Contract project management. During my career I have worked for three major MSOs Charter, Time Warner, and Cox and well as a Sr. Technical Training Instructor for Scientific Atlanta. My work often involves field engineering support working with our frontline employees across the enterprise. As this is my first request to serve on the board, I have worked with the SCTE for the past 15 years as a guest speaker and panelist on multiple occasions. I would welcome an opportunity to become more involved with the Chattahoochee SCTE Chapter as a board member to lend my support field training and certification in support of industry advancements in technology.

Mark A Wildermuth is currently Sr. Manager of Video Engineering and Operations at Comcast Cable Corporation. Mark is responsible for the Engineering and operational support for linear video, new technology and cloud TV based video for Central Division eXcellence in Operations Center. Mark has long history in the cable business. Mark enlisted in the US Navy in 1988 until being honorably discharged in 1993. Mark served on the USS Antrim and the USS Stark as a Gas turbine Systems technician. He started his cable career with a small company in Chicago installing MMDS systems. Mark also worked for a traditional cable company, Optel, in Chicago where he worked as an installer, service tech, maintenance and headend technician until 2000. Mark then took a role with Comcast (AT&T) in 2000 as a headend tech in Chicago. With Comcast, Mark was responsible for the R&D and launching the first all-digital line-up in Comcast. From there his passion for Video grew to where he was promoted to be one of two Engineers to manage all video for the Greater Chicago Market in the Central Division. Mark then was asked to manage all video for Central Division in 2014 which is his current role today.
In his current role, as Sr. Manager of Video Engineering and Operations, he currently manages teams that provide Engineering and operational support for all video products including, classic video, spectrum design, video monitoring, Cloud based video. Mark also works with the Advanced Engineering team to operationalize our video product into new cutting edge technology such as rPHY and VDE . Mark’s scope of responsibility spans the entire Central Division from Illinois to the Florida Keys.
Mark and his beautiful wife, Rose, have been married for 20 year and have two wonderful children. Mark is an avid bow hunter, fisherman and even tries to play golf. He also likes to take his rides in the mountains with his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He has volunteered from 2003- 2008 as a supporting member of the Chicagoland Toys for Tots motorcycle parade Organization.

I started my journey in the cable back on November 13, 1995 as an Installer with Continental Cablevision in Pompano Beach FL. Throughout my career in this evolutionary industry, I have maintained several positions in my tenure that includes experience from Installer, Service, Maintenance, Hub/Head-end, Construction, Technical Analyst and Leadership. Moved into a leadership role in 2010 in the Atlanta market and currently the Commercial Tech Ops Manager for Central Division.
Current role and responsibilities involve deployment of new products, processes, metric alignment and enhancing the customer experience for our Commercial SMB, Mid-Market and Enterprise along with Metro-E clients throughout the Central Division. My education includes a degree in Engineering and Business along with certifications through SCTE, and Leadership Courses through Comcast.
I have been a member of the SCTE since 1995 and have really enjoyed being a part of this organization that keeps up with the technology. I believe that adopting this organization early in my career has kept my interest with the constant education and development of the industry throughout the past 24 years. John joined SCTE Dixie Chapter in 2010 and was elected as Vice President. As the Vice President of the Dixie Chapter he was highly involved in setting up technical training seminars and vendor shows. He was the Region 8 Regional Representative for SCTE in 2018.
John frequently goes to municipal functions and attends church at First Pentecostal Church of Statesboro, GA. He lives in Statesboro, Georgia with his wife. He frequently visits the beach and is learning to play the keyboard.

I have been with Comcast since 2009 and am currently a Headend Technician in the Atlanta Market. Starting as a Fulfillment Tech in Sacramento, I quickly worked my way through the ranks, doing a little bit of everything including commercial and home security before becoming a Network Technician. I was heavily involved in node splits and the Next Gen fiber deep project. While there, I was an ABM for the Sierra Chapter and came to really appreciate the vendor shows, training sessions and of course the golf outings. In 2018, I made the move to Georgia and soon after moved into the Headend Department.
I am a big fan of the SCTE and everything it has to offer the entire cable/communications industry. I hope to use my experiences to promote the benefits of the SCTE with my peers and business partners and look forward to helping the chapter in any way I can.
I live in Ball Ground, GA with my awesome wife, Michelle, and our 6 dogs. We have 2 grown kids, Alex and Taylor who still live in California. When not at work, you can probably find me playing hockey, working on my car, woodworking or trying to make all of my wife’s Pinterest projects a reality.

Jason is the Senior Manager of the Core Design Engineering group at Cox Communications. He is responsible for the architecture and design for the Core Routing and Long-haul DWDM networks that make up Cox's national backbone, as well as the Metro Routing and DWDM networks in each of Cox's market locations. Jason started at Cox in 2007 as an engineer in the Cox Business Engineering team in Arizona and took a leadership position in Cox's Southwest Region in 2012. In that role he led the Network Engineering team responsible for IP Routing, DWDM, Voice, Wifi, FTTH, and Cable Access (DOCSIS) for the Arizona and Las Vegas markets. Jason moved from Arizona to Atlanta in 2017 and had multiple Network Engineering leadership roles before moving to the Core Design team in 2020.
Prior to joining Cox Communications, Jason was a Network Engineer at Best Western International where he was responsible for network design for their 2400 hotels in North America. Prior to Best Western he worked at 2wire as a network technician supporting modems and routers for SBC residential customers.
In his spare time Jason enjoys playing games with his wife and three children, and is always planning the next family vacation. He loves to golf, is an avid Formula 1 fan, and attempts to play guitar as well.
